Carol sent me these photos taken on a neighborhood walk through Los Angeles. I had fun working with these! I hope you like it, Carol. Please let me know if you’d like anything changed on the page.

Carol's journaling reads:

When I lived in Los Angeles, I would take my roommate’s dog for walks. One day I came upon this pretty backyard. It was filled with Wisteria hanging from trees and vines. There was also a cute windmill and swing in the backyard. I also managed to get a photo of a crow in a Jacaranda tree, while walking around the neighborhood.

For this layout I used:

SNU SS Emb Templates:

3D Negative Frames SNU SS Styles: Shadow Me

BMU Botanical Collection Biggie

BMU SS Paper Templates: Edgers Biggie

SG Anniversary Collection

Thank you so much for this beautiful layout, Marilyn. I love that background paper and those great negative frames you used around my photos. I also love how you used the little squirrel eating a nut as an oob from one of my photos. And of course, my butterfly.

Those wisteria are beautiful! I love their color.

You did a fabulous job with Carol's photos, Marilyn. I love the idea of the filmstrip with the larger photos. And that squirrel is just too cute! :D I also like the butterfly enjoying the scene. Lovely work!

Such a pretty, lovely page! I, too, love the wavy film strip frames. Your soft blended background helps showcase Carol's pretty photos and it goes well with the greenery of the main photo so perfectly. And yay for adding her signature butterfly! nice little touch.
