NL Challenge, April 25th

Have you ever seen the movie Good Morning, Viet Nam? There is a scene where Robin Williams' character is getting a lecture. The guy points to his rank and says "Do you know what this means? 3 Up, 3 Down?" And Williams' character replies with "The end of an inning?"

Once my dad saw that, he had a bunch of the rank for me and gave me one every time I struck out the side (only faced 3 batters per inning and struck them all out). We called it Earning My Stripes. Well, Lauren did it last week for the first time in awhile. She didn't even realize it! What's worse, I only took photos of her batting that game, none pitching! But here she is from a different game with the story of earning her stripes.

WOW!!!  What a cool story and I like "earning your stripes" and the meaning that goes with it!  And Lauren looks great - what form she has and she for sure is looking even older and stronger each time we see her.  Her career is coming along so nicely and her hard work paying off - for sure something to be very proud of.  I like your layout and how you put Lauren in the middle and included the story and stripes too!   Great page Carla, I really enjoyed it and thanks for joining the Tuesday Challenge.   And, GO Lauren!   :2468who-do-we-appreciate:
