journaling:
Easter Sunday was a beautiful day! The choir presented our cantata, “Come to the Cross and Remember.” It was very well received. After church Dave and I posed by the flower cross outside. It’s so beautiful after everyone has added their own flowers.

I bought a tomato plant this week and named him “Bob,” They laughed until they saw the ripened ‘maters I got off of it! It was already loaded with fruit when I bought it, so I had a good head start.

We’re finally getting to see the baby robins! I love this photo of one of them peeking out from beneath mama! Dusty and I had fun with our Easter butterfly head bands.

This little guy to the left is Thumper. He belongs to the children next door and he loves to chase their chickens! He’s really fast!

I had fun making a sunflower cake for Easter dessert. The ‘seeds’ were mini chocolate chips and we all enjoyed it.

On Tuesday, the choir went to sing for the men at the Nashville Rescue Mission. They are always so gracious to us and we are so blessed to be able to do this.

Some of us stopped off at Ruby Tuesday on the way home and I’m always reminded how blessed we are to have found this place to call home and to have made so many wonderful friends.

Lucky you to have Robins where you can observe them and photograph.  Watching nesting is so much fun. You do a good job of capturing pictures of your week and journaling.  I really enjoy sharing your pages.
