Project Life, week21-2017
journaling:
Busy, busy, busy! What a week. On Sunday Dave and I substituted for our choir director and had a ball! The anthem sounded great, and we let the pastor’s granddaughter sneak in and sing with the choir. Lori Hall was in church, having just survived brain surgery. She has sung with us in the past and has quite a testimony.
My “Easter” lilies are getting ready to bloom. It’s finally warm enough.
On Wednesday Dave and I celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary! We went to La Tavola (again!) for lunch and when it came time to pay, the owner comped us in honor of our celebration! The calamari was wonderful, and I had to take a photo of my “little friend”.
I made good on last year’s promise and bought red noses for everyone in the choir! It was all in good fun and for a good cause, and they happily posed for a photo.
Our grandson, Zander, has graduated from Pre-K! We’re so proud of him, and he’s just a doll!
The city of Smyrna is planning a memorial for Captain Jeff Kuss who was killed last June when his plane crashed while rehearsing for the Air Show.
On Friday a donated plane arrived from Florida, and has been outfitted with the number 6, just like his plane. The memorial will be across from the Smyrna Airport. The town turned out to give it a hero’s welcome.
