Project Life, week 34C, 2017
(Note: Third and last page for this very busy week!)
Journaling:
It’s not the last day of vacation, but it is the last day of this week! I’m amazed we can keep up this pace!
After our trip up the Incline Railway, we drove back down the mountain and into Chattanooga. We made our way to the famous Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel. I loved getting up close with a caboose. My maternal grandfather, Marion Kesler, was a brakeman for the C&O Railroad in West Virginia. I actually have one of his lanterns, like the black one in the picture!
We cooled off at the Frothy Monkey, and then set off for the Chattanooga Zoo. I’m sorry to say that it was small, and we weren’t terribly impressed with the exhibits. It was stiflingly hot so most of the animals had retreated into their habitats. The camel at the camel rides was nice enough to pose for me, though.
Back at the hotel we had a wonderful swim in the indoor pool, took a nap, and then went to dinner at
Puckett’s Grocery where Dave scored the find of a lifetime!
To be continued on next week’s page!
