Not my dog

My MIL's dog comes over when she's at work. He stays here until she gets home, then he runs home to meet her. Clearly, he'd rather be with her, but he comes here so as not to be alone.

Journaling says: "I keep telling you you don’t live here. You aren’t my dog. But you can’t bear to be without your owner while she’s at work. And you come here to pass the time and have some company. We know we are second best, but we’ll let you come over anyways."

Supplies used:

Papers, alpha, red brad, are from Valerie Randall's February club kit "altered state"

notebook paper from Angie Briggs "day to day life"

Brush from Syndee Nuckles "shall we dance" Quotes and more brush set

Ribbon design is from Luxe Borders set

Font is freebie called "Bulky Refuse"

sketch is from PageMaps

This just made me giggle! My dd's teacher was stressed yesterday as we were expecting snow and her dog was at the groomers. She kept saying first snowflake and I am out of here! I have to pick up Max! I love the layout! The colors are perfect with her coat! I am also impressed you used Valerie's kit already! Great job!

I was looking to see what folks were doing with the club contents and I found your wonderful layout. What a lucky dog he is to have you for a neighbor. He looks like he's probably not too much trouble to have around. This is a "make you smile" layout for certain.

He reminds me of one of our dogs who has passed on. Her name was Lady. She was so sweet. Hope Buzz is

as sweet as she was and realizes how special he is to have doggy daycare.

Love your layout. Excellent job.

Buzz looks so sweet . . . but he does look like he misses his "companion." Great colors in your papers; they really complement Buzz's coat.
