First LO from our recent trip. This is meant to be the cover of a 12 x 12 book I'm going to have made.

It is inspired by Kellie Mize's "Road Trip Album" at DD.

Background is from Erica Hite's "Just the Basics Paper Biggie"

Alpha is actually from Ursula Schneider's "Arizona Sunset Collection", but I used a map of Kenya on it.

Datestamp is from Katie Pertiet's "Digital Date Stamps vol2" at DD

Staples are from Katie Pertiet's "Botanist Notebook Kit no 8" at DD

Font is English Presto 111 BT

From the album:

Africa 2007

Nice! I like your use of white space, and the type treatment is very effective for your layout. I hope we'll be seeing more layouts with pictures from your trip.

This is beautiful. I love how you combined the map and paper to do your lettering. The photo is spectacular. You've used just enough embellishment to set off your photos. I love this layout. Can't wait to see the rest of your vacation.

This is great. Matches your back cover perfectly. I love the Kenya map over the alpha and the date stamp. Everything looks great together.

Your pictures are just gorgeous! And I really like how simple you keep the background, it really shows off your pictures without being empty! I'm working on a trip book right now too, from our trip to Italy, so I am putting all your pages in my favorites! Thanks for sharing!

How Perfect and Elegant! I may be partial because I love giraffes but I really like the type. How did you get it look like the sun was shinning on it. I bow to your talent.
