Journaling:  "Love these plaid pants!  My dad and I pose for a photo for my Mom on Christmas Eve, just before we leave for the Christmas Eve Service at our church.  We look so serious!  On the Grand Staircase of our turn-of-the-century house, 24 December 1987."

What a fantastic photo! I'd love a staircase like that. Your outfit is so festive and perfect for the 80's. I had pants like that, too, but a green plaid. I like that you used plaid for the background. The drop cap for your journaling looks very decorative!

Green plaid, lol!  We would definitely be Christmas together.  I was trying to figure out what I’m holding in my hand (in the photo).  Can’t be a cell phone!
