Misawa Landscape 2002

I've been eyeing this photo for a while, wanting to scrap it.  It's one of my favorites from when I was stationed in Japan - I had a road bike back then, and I used to bike all around the rural countryside.  I remember stopping for a water break, and seeing a Mamasan on her bike, riding down the road away from me.  I scrambled to get my camera out, to catch her as she rode away.  I loved rural, northern Japan, so beautiful.

Your photo is so gorgeous, I can only imagine how beautiful i must have been there in person.  Your background is lovely and I really like the dark masking with light journaling, it's lovely.  I really like the delicate feel to your layout and the special touches and pieces you used.

This is an awesome photo. I love seeing photos of landscapes just like this in other parts of the world.  Love the light BG and the brown brush mask. You scrapped your photo so beautifully!

I imagine you could fill an entire memory card (or maybe it was film then?) with images from your time in Japan! This photo is lovely and you made a delightful page for it. I love the colorful touch of the Japanese Lantern flowers.

This actually was taken with my very first digital camera.  My dad bought it for me, but it took me over a year to really start using it.  It was a 1.5 megapixel... amazing how things change!
