Every night at 20:00 a moving ceremony takes place under the Menen Poort (Menen Gate) in Ieper, Belgium. The Last Post Ceremony has become part of the daily life in Ieper and the local residents as well as tourists are proud of this simple but moving tribute to the courage and self-sacrifice of those who fell in defense of their town.

Oh, this is lovely Marie.  What a touching tribute I was interested to learn about.  Your photo and treatment is beautiful and I love the splash of red poppies and butterflies in remembrance.  Gorgeous ATC.
