Journaling: Amelia was a career woman, a seamstress with her own shop, when her father told her to marry his friend, an older widower with two small sons. There was no women’s lib back then, so Amelia obeyed her father and become a farmer’s wife and mother.

This is lovely Sue and your recoloring is awesome.   I really enjoyed your journaling, so hard for women back in those days, but I hope Amelia had a happy life with her new family.  I like how you framed and masked the photo and made this look like a book cover, it’s all really beautiful.
