That's a lot of snow!  I love your photos and your journaling, especially since you are recording thoughts as well as events. I also like the black stroke around the journaling to differentiate it from the photos. My kids used to love making snow forts when we lived up north. (Our granddaughter feels sorry for us because we don't have snow here in Florida.  )

This layout is great.  Not so much embellishment that it detracts from the great photos.  I also think the outline of the journaling works well. Look forward to seeing more.

I love the word for the year.  Oh that snow looks soooooo very cold.  Speaking as an Australian.  You are very priveliged to have a Snow Owl near your home.
