This sounds so good and refreshing for a summer day.   I’m wondering what jelly crystals are, I thought maybe like Jello but you mention using that too!  Your card is so pretty and I like seeing a photo of the cake.   I love berries (except strawberries!) so I think I’d like this a lot.

It looks like our jelly crystals are the same as your jello. In NZ ours are crystals but I know in the UK it comes as cubes but its in the same 85g box

Thank you Jane!  Our Jello comes as sort of a powder and it has gelatin already in it.  So, would I still need to add the extra ½ tsp of gelatin?  Sorry for so many questions but this sounds so good I’d like to try it!

Yes the gelatin is still needed as it needs to be firm  

This sounds fabulous! Thanks for all the gelatin info because this is a must try. The photo looks like a grand finale dessert!
