Weekend Challenge 3/17/18 Shamrock Alison Story

I’ve always wanted to scrap this sweet writing assignment that my little cousin wrote in first grade.  Using shamrocks on the page gave me the perfect opportunity!
Journaling Reads:
”One day I met a leprechaun named Marie.  She granted me three wishes.  First, I wished for money for the poor.  Then, I wished for more friends.  Last, I wished for a few toys.  All my wishes came true!  It was a great day!”  By Alison
For this layout I used:
AFT SS Antique Edges
EBA Shamrock Embellishment & Paper Special
ACA JIF6: Lucky Day

cute! makes me smile because children have simple wishes and as adults we make things so complicated. Your shamrocks are the perfect addition to this happy LO.

What a sweet page! Love the blending on this and your circle of shamrocks. Sounds like good wishes she made.

What sweet journaling! I love that you highlighted it with the circle of shamrocks and blended in a photo of Alison! Thanks for joining the challenge.

Ahhhh. What a sweet girl. How neat that you had the original paper. I like the way you blended her photo into the background and framed the story with the shamrocks. I am very impressed that she could spell leprec----whatever.
