Done with Photoshop Elements 4.0:

1. background is color matched from house

2. Renee Pearson's Sedona kit (buttons, mat, journal block)

3. Font: LD Scratchy Pen (from CD-Rom)

Ooops... just noticed I posted this in pre-school instead of elementary. Sue me. :) But check out the continuation of the saga at http://tinyurl.com/2wvjxk

A simple but lovely LO that really conveys the frustration Sasha must have felt. The single photo is stunning, and the combination of the brown and turquoise popped with the orange brads really works. Nice work!

Beautiful LO...you captured the emotion of disapointment perfectly in your photo...my heart goes out to her! It sucks to be caught in that 'in between' phase...

Poor Sasha! The look on her face says it all. I love the colors you used and the brads and the bench really add just a little touch of color that makes your layout stand out. Great job.

Oh, the same thing has happened to my kids. I'm sure next year she'll make it!

Nice layout! I really like the colors you picked.

YOu did an excellent job of convaying the emotions in the photo with other elements. And the photo is great-I think we can all relate to how Sasha is feeling. Great layout!

This is really good. Look at that photo! It is so cute! I love the colors, and the way you did the title, and the use of the brads, too. The photo is really the focus of this layout. Great job!

Great color choices! The look on her face is sheer disappointment and you have done an awesome capturing that. I like the placement of the 3 buttons at the end of your journaling... sort of reminds me of stop lights. Great journaling.

Now this is a great moment I would never think to scrap. I'm sure she will look back on this one day and really appreciate that this moment is there to remember and grow from. Great job!
