journaling:
Moo! We’re such goobers, we have two fields of cattle that we drive by almost every day, depending on which direction we are going. We moo at them and have faux conversations, too.
Spring? Not quite. As you can see, we had a freeze warning on the first day of Spring. Typical for this area.
Dave and I drove out to Jefferson Springs Park to check out the location for our Easter Sunrise Service. We haven’t gone before, but as Interim Music Directors, we are in charge of the music this year. The water in Percy Priest Reserve was pretty high and muddy, we’ve had a lot of rain. The trees are all beginning to bloom though, and are so pretty!
Saturday March 24 was the national March for Our Lives, a result of the February 14th shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL. Dave wanted to go to the march here in Nashville but was a little under the weather. It’s been a long time coming, but hopefully these kids can make a difference. This is the next generation and I’m so proud of them.
That same day was our church’s annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and egg hunt. It was cold, windy, and rainy and they had to hold the egg hunt inside the sanctuary. The kids had a blast anyway!
