San Antonio, TX

"This is San Antonio, Texas in April of 2006.  Bill and I didn't live there at the time, but I had to take the Fellowship exam at the AAOMP conference that year.  We knew at some point we would likely be stationed in San Antonio, and sure enough, after 5 1/2 years in Dayton, Ohio, we PCS'd to San Antonio in June of 2012.  These photos were taken at the River Walk downtown, where the conference was.  It's a popular tourist location, and we don't go there very often now that we live here.  By the way, in the photo below, I was about 6 weeks pregnant with Karlie.  We were so excited!"

I went to San Antonio many years ago and loved it. We stayed at a hotel overlooking the river walk so we had amazing views. Your page brings back good  memories with my great friends. Well done page.

Great photos and I enjoyed your journaling.   I’m a Spurs fan so have often seen the River Walk on television but would sure like to visit there some day, I’ve heard San Antonio is beautiful!   I like how you’ve arranged and framed your photos and what a great touch at having the middle one in sepia.  I really like the colors you used in your background and you did such a great job with the torn edge.   Thanks for sharing this part of your hometown in the Tuesday Challenge Gallery.
