This bird looked as disgusted as I was with this "spring." Maybe I was just seeing him through my filter; snow & ice this weekend---again.

Well, I sure agree with you and that pretty bird!   Your photo and that bird is beautiful and I really like your masking and background and your journaling is hilarious but so true. This is one of the very few (only??) things about snow that made me smile!
