Weekend Wildcard 21/4

I hope wooden pew ends don't count as "people"!

This medieval church at Blythburgh is known as the cathedral of the marshes and can be seen for miles around in the flat Suffolk landscape. For history buffs - it contains a memorial to President Kennedy's elder brother whose plane crashed nearby whilst on a secret mission during WW2.

This is such a gorgeous page, Hilary and your photos are really beautiful.   Your journaling is so interesting and I enjoyed seeing all your captions on the page and your note about the Kennedy brother.  I’d always heard he was killed in a plane crash in the War but never knew where.   I really like your set up and use of circles and your blending is superb - in particular the bottom pic.  I keep looking and looking through this layout and find more and more to like, fabulous work. :)

This page has everything I love; beautiful historic building with all the wonderful architectural details and lovely poetic-like journaling. I've never been there, but this reminds me that the British Isles are in my soul!

Such interesting facts and photos. I love the circles. I don't know why I don't use more circles in my layouts. Thanks for the inspiration and congrats on your winning layout.
