A Life Remembered

I was told my great grandma on my mom’s side didn’t talk about her son Arnold very much. They never learned what was wrong with him, but he never grew and developed as a normal child would. He died at age 3, just after this photo was taken, of “failure to thrive”.

This is so touching Sue and what a beautiful page you made reflecting on Arnold’s short life.  Your photo is a treasure and I love the antique backround you chose with the large clock looming next to him signifying how short his was.    Your journaling is so descriptive and I like the delicte baby’s breath tucked in behind your pic.

Looks like a scene from a mantle or dresser. A precious photo, and broken-hearted parents. Wonderful that you collected this story and told it. Many will appreciate it.
