World-Tour-bright colors and birds

Do you call these lupins? We call them lupins here and they grow wild in the river beds. They sure are a delightful show of colour. Great choice of photo for this challenge.

I cant grow lupins - the slugs eat them. Such a pretty photo. I especially like the 2 birds and the way the colour from the flowers bleeds into them.
