Purple & Orange Challenge.jpg

Well this is me trying to be creative with purple and orange! Stepping out of my comfort zone. Can't say i enjoyed it greatly and had to get alot of advice from my family!! But here it is anyway. I got Ursula's colour blocking templates and her example is where I got the inspiration from.

The template is real fun to use!

Products I used:

DEB Tints paper

USC Colour block templates

SS Tools Styles Embed 1801

VRA Tribal Brush

Madfont and Kristen ITC fonts.

The background orange paper is a freebie from the beginning I think from scrapartist.

Ngaire, this is alot of fun. I love the quote, and I love how you have used the "embed" style.

What a good-looking, fun-loving family you have. Only one thing missing - where is the photo of yourself in this.

Also is that Durin's Tints you have used for the papers?

Oh thanks Racheal for reminding me about the papers. I had it written down but must have forgotten to add them (11pm scrapping) They are Durin Eberharts Tints paper biggie. Gorgeous collection!!! Have loved using it with the layouts of Jess.

And You are very observant noticing I was missing! :disappearing-smilie: I just didn't fit in!!! :disappearing-smilie:

Great job on the challenge! I like challenges just because it forces you to work outside your comfort zone. I love the smiling faces!

I think maybe this is one of my favs! The close-up smile surrounded by so many other smiling faces! This is a fab idea for all those little photos I have floating around that I have NO idea what to do with! Yay! Thanks for the inspiration!

Ngaire- I seem to remember seeing a photo of you with a huge smile on your face...I think you would have fit right in. I like how you embedded all the faces around the big smile and I really love that quote. I think I'll put it in my classroom.
