SG 14 Anniversary Monday Journaling: KY Truffles

Ok, so I normally avoid journaling like the plague, but since this is a journaling challenge I did it. But, then I could not find a way to add embellishments and have it look good. I admit, to me it’s always about the photos!
Journaling reads:
“When I was in Indiana and Susan took me the the Louisville KY Bat factory she spotted a sign for Graeter’s ice cream which she loves and can’t be found many places. The store was named “Ah…. What about Mimi?” after the owner and a play on words with “me”. The store started by selling recognition award gifts for companies, but has morphed into what their motto describes as, “bring smiles to everyone”. Inside there were displays of gift ideas like balloons, shirts, toys, etc but over by the ice cream counter was a long glass refrigerator case filled with gourmet treats like these “Oversized Grand Truffles”. They were so pretty, I had to take photos!”
"Product Description: What is bigger than a cake pop and when placed in your mouth will make you sigh with the satisfaction that only chocolate can bring? Our oversized grand truffles, of course! Big enough to share, but we won't tell!"

For this layout I used:
SNU SS DLO Template: Fade Out
EHI Patisserie Collection Mini
KVE SS Styles: Starburst Pastels
and my own photos

Next time I'm in Louisville, I have to check this out! I love the pink background and how your photo fades away to the edge. See, journaling isn't that hard, is it, lol?
