Journalling challenge - 2 peas in a pod

My brother and I have always been close growing up in the southern suburbs of Brisbane. As we grew older I stayed in Brisbane, married and settled down to raise our children. Trevor moved to the Northern Territory with work and eventually married up there. His work then took him to Western Australia where he still lives with his family. We were lucky enough to have him & his wife in Queensland for the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast. When they finished he and Peta did some travelling before heading home to WA. We caught up again in South Australia & they joined David and myself for three days of travel. We stayed in our separate caravans overnight in the town of Woomera. We realised we had a lot of similarities as we were often taken for twins when we were growing up. Imagine the surprise when we both emerged from our separate caravans wearing identical shirts and and the same colour jumpers. We are definitely ‘in synch’ even though we live many miles apart.

It is always fun to see something familiar on layouts... something Aussie !  Your page and all you have included all looks great.

What a wonderful photo and awesome journaling, I so enjoyed both, Laraine!  And the first thing I thought of when seeing you both together was that the resemblance was amazing!  I like the Bronco colors you used and how you showed their logos and the peas in the pod graphic reminded me of how that’s what Jody and I always said.

Love this story, it hits close to home for me. I have done things like that with my twin brother many times and your not even twins.

I love that you used all the colors of your shirts for the page. great job with the journaling shape.

Thank you for making this wonderful journaling page.
