Journaling Nantuckett Island, MA June 1991
We had two days to honeymoon between chemo treatments.
We spent one of the days on the Island of Nantuckett off the
coast of Massechusetts. Although you got sick on the ferry
ride once on the island we had a great time. We rented bikes
and rode around the island. When we got
back to the hotel and took a shower all
your hair came out. We just sat on the
shower floor and laughed! 16 years later
we are still laughing.
I love you.

Oh wow, Dee, this is awesome! I don't know your husband's health history, but obviously not the usual sort of honeymoon - it's wonderful that you documented it! The part about laughing when his hair came out is so touching - and says so much about the relationship the two of you have. This is just super!

What a wonderful way to document your relationship. Laughter can get us through so many trials in life, can't it? This is a cool page. The colors and textures you used go perfectly with your photos. Fabulous layout.

Dee, this brought tears to my eyes.If you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? I hope your husband has no health concerns now.

I like the way you edged (or un-edged) the pictures you used. I also like how the shades of blue complement the colors of the beach and the sky. And that brushwork looks rough, like you brushed it over the sand in the picture. I think it's great!

Dee, this is lovely! Such sweet journaling. I love how you did the layout, with the sand and ocean colors, and all the texture. Great background, and I especially love the "paint" behind your focal photo. Wonderful layout!
