SEW VINTAGE

SEW VINTAGE - My grandmother, Anna Helena “Ann” (L), and her younger sister, Teresa Francesca “Frances” (R), modeling their homemade dresses in the early 1900’s. They made all their clothing on an old, foot-powered treadle sewing machine. Many of their dresses were made from cotton, flour sack material.

This is a super pretty page. I love the colors. I laugh at your journaling" foot powered treadle machine...I still have one that I brought back from Germany-directions in German that I cannot read"

your grandmother and her sister left you a rich heritage with their sewing and ability to make their own clothing, this is a wonderful LO!

Thank you DixieLee! I totally agree - it is a rich heritage and I love sewing as much as they did.
