I remember the sixpences in the pudding as well :) but I love Christmas pudding. Hope your dog got some Christmas dinner after waiting hopefully under the table :) love your LO :)

Oh this is sooo 1960s Ann Marie! Love it. Hiding a sixpence in the pud was never something our family did but it was a popular tradition back in the day. Did you ever get over your dislike of Christmas Pud? If not - send your portion my way - I love it!

I still do not really like Christmas pudding or most fruit cakes. I do like sticky date pudding.

Oh Anne Marie what a special page of reminiscing!   I so enjoyed your journaling and reading about your childhood Christmas day and I liked looking through your photo, as Hilary says I recognize the times from living through the same era and things like your kitchen and dresses look much the same.   Before I read your journaling I thought that was you serving the pudding and your granddaughters in the photo - family resemblance is amazing!  Thanks for joining in the Tuesday Holiday Challenge!  ?

This is a terrific page, Anne-Marie! I love the sixties-era ornaments with that wonderful old photo. Mostly I enjoyed your journaling. By the way, if you don't send your portion of the Christmas pudding to Hilary, you can send it to me. I love all kinds of fruit cakes!

I love your journaling, and your photo IS great, it shows real life.  I wish we could see your face in it, though!  Pretty polka dotted background paper and use of white space.  Love the ornaments, too!

Such a great memory your jouranling tells. I love the  embellishment. Awesome hanging decorations and the colors are so different for Christmas page.

I love the brown background to go with the pudding graphic and theme. Ornaments are adorable too. I have so many pics like this of a family meal from the 1960s, too!
