Journaling:

Very quiet and almost too relaxing! We’re re-learning what it means to not have to have the responsibility for the worship services. Sunday was our new director’s fist day and he nailed it! He asked us afterward if he “did okay”. So cute! We had our first choir rehearsal Wednesday night and holy cow, we love him. 

Ivy is .... Ivy. We’re thinking about renting her out as a mobile shredder service. Newspapers, mail ... she can handle it all. 

Friday night was date night. The older I get, the less I like cooking dinner. (Or lunch, or breakfast, let’s be honest.) We indulged in a very decadent, and extremely non-healthy dinner at the Red Lobster in Murfreesboro. A little wine, cheesy garlic biscuits, stuffed mushrooms and a couple of lobster tails later, and we were both stuffed and happy!

Saturday we went back down to the ‘Boro to pick up some things at Bed, Bath and Beyond. On the way home we came upon this trailer that was hauling massive tires! “Oversize load” was an understatement.

Stuffed and happy sounds good to me!  I enjoyed your journaling and sense of humor and a few times laughed outloud! (“mobile shredder”!!!:rofl:)   Funny from this end, at least.  Your photos are great and I really enjoy reading about your weeks and how well you document them.

You do such a good job with your journaling … I enjoy sharing your weeks.  Have to say those lobster tails look yummy … and that's a great shot of the evening sky. Sometimes those slower weeks are rather nice.

Oh, Ivy is so cute! And think how much you are saving in shredding costs, rofl! So glad the new director is working out and you can relax!
