?  Great layout, love the quote especially given the layout I posted a bit ago of my girls chasing a peacock!  I love the sketched look, like in a storybook.

Hi Mikelle! I just looked at your layout, and it is so funny we both had peacocks posted within a couple of hours of one another. My photo is much older, though, from 2000. Little boy is all grown up now.

Thanks Alsoarty! I have to admit I kept your example page listed in the monthly challenge open as a reference while I worked on this. I have never done a layout with a sketch and graffiti/blends like this. It was fun and I have a few ideas to try the technique again in an album I am working on.

Oh yay! So glad to hear that. You should try doing some ATC. It’s the same just on a smaller scale. Check out the gallery: ATC Gallery.

Alsoarty, those were interesting to look at. Maybe sometime in the future. I am actually working on four albums right now, and a couple have deadlines for gifting......

Oh my this is such a wonderful artsy LO.  They are such beautiful birds and you have make it into a sketch/ Art Journaling style page...super creative.
Andrea is right you would be good at ATC's just a little card of fun.

Thanks Boatlady! It was definitely a departure from my normal scrapping!

Love the sweet children's sketchbook quality to this. Nicely done!

Thanks BetC. It turned out softer than I realized and I was considering more emphasis and then decided against it, so I appreciate the comment.

Wonderful page - I love how your doodles and scratches give the page movement.

Thanks Silly. Since our son was tearing off after the poor peacock I wanted to show some of the action somehow. The arrow helped.
