PUDDLE JUMPER

PUDDLE JUMPER - Summer monsoon storms in the Arizona desert can be quite intense at times. Dumping great amounts of rain on parched soil in a short space of time can cause torrential runoff in washes. Fast flowing water in a flooded wash can quickly submerge a vehicle if a driver is foolish enough to try to cross. But from the safety of your own home, a desert storm is a thrill to experience. We enjoyed several such storms when we lived in Las Sendas. We miss the storms. 14 July 2012
