Darren sent me both of these photos of Jody’s roses blooming.
Journaling reads:
"Darren planted these roses for Jody the first Valentine’s Day she was gone. Two years later they blossomed beautifully. April 2019”

So pretty...I have reminders of my dearest friend in my garden, I lost her a year and a half ago.  This is a beautiful tribute.  My favorite touch is the sun shining through the enlarged flower.

Thank you Doris, I’m glad you noticed the sun.   It was sunset there in Australia when Darren took the photos and I thought it was especially touching - it would have been their third wedding anniversary that day; she never made it to their first so it almost felt like Jody’s spirit shining through to us.
