Your photos are gorgeous and your journaling so interesting!  I went to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone but missed the Badlands part of the trip a few years ago.    Your blending is wonderful.

That's a part of the country which I think is fascinating and would love to see in person. Meanwhile I'll enjoy your wonderful photos. I also like your interesting journaling and the cool embellishments you chose.

Thanks for the kind comment on the photos, but these are from my pre-digital camera days and scanned from 3.5 x 5 pics in an old photo album. I can't wait to do LOs for some of our trips once I got my digital camera! I think the difference will be dramatic. But, wow, it seems like this chronological "old vacations" project will take forever. Hubby and I have still never made it to the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone or Grand Canyon - all on my bucket list. Now that the kids are out of sports and college, maybe we will finally have some time to actually travel further than a day trip. Year-round sports really took a toll on family vacations (time-wise and money-wise). Was it worth it? Hmmmmm.....that is a debate for another day.

Thanks floridagranny! One thing I still remember from this camping trip was the incredible lack of humidity in July in the Black Hills. Being from the MidWest, I expected it to be miserable. No humidity, no mosquitoes. Something I think someone from Florida would definitely appreciate! Lol.
