Weekend Wildcard Challenge - Blending

 Share

I made this for a photo book of our recent vacation, but, since it has lots of blending, it works for the WW challenge, too! Journaling reads: "Saturday morning we took a canal boat ride through Amsterdam’s canals. Unlike 2 years ago, the weather was sunny so we had much better views. Our captain navigated the narrow canals perfectly! These photos were taken through the window, but show some of what we saw, including several houseboats. They each have a different personality so it was difficult not to snap photos of each one. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. They even gave us coffee and cookies!" This is stunning with the lightly patterned paper and the watercolor splotches and floral stamps. Love the way you've laid out the pics and gently used some embellishments. Question? Have you had any issues with the two-page layout printing in a photobook? Any tips for doing it well? I've only done one photobook so far using outside software, and they were all single pages.

Great photos and I love the blended background!  We were there for a "Viking" cruise leaving Amsterdam and ending up in Budapest.  Beautiful scenery everywhere!!

Gorgeous photos and I can’t believe they were taken through a window!   I love how you showed us the scene in front of you and then the bridge, too.  Your blending is lovely and your page is beautiful.

Thank you for your generous comments! I have a few things to say about making photo books, but I'll PM you. Let me know if you don't get the message.
