This was the first of many crisps and cobblers that my Nana used to make for me when I would stay with her. She used to say it was the only way she could get me to eat any type of oatmeal! She would change the fruit she used depending upon what was in season at the time. This Apple Crisp would fall into my category of comfort food. It is delicious warm with ice cream and caramel sauce.

I love Apple Crisp and this one sounds so yummy and it’s extra nice that it’s a special memory for you.  Your card is so pretty and I like the colors you used.

I don't like pie crust...but crisps, cobblers and anything with a graham cracker crust are my downfalls… LOL! :dancing-smilie:

I love the way you used the apples in the recipe!  Very cool layout!  Apple crisp was one of my mother's signature desserts.

Crisps are like taking a trip to my childhood. Your card is lovely; very creative use of the apples as a mat for your recipe.
