Tuesday Challenge 6/18/19 Traditions Scrapping Wildflower

Pretending that I was creating this page in paper scrapping made me appreciate digital even more! I found myself constantly wanting to blend and not happy with the boxy/clear cut lines of “paper” and the possibilities for creative scrapping were so much less! Even though I did use shadows, figuring that paper would be normally shadowed, somehow the layout looks flat.  I used a one-paper background and elements that I thought of as paper stickers. Not my favorite layout by far - bring on PSE!
For this layout I used:
SNU SS Styles: Shadow Me
SDE Make it Bloom Collection
and my own photo

Paper gave us simple pages and I think you did a great job with your stickers and keeping it simple. We have come a long way from paper to what we can do now. Love this simple page too.

I'm with you Babe - since going digital when I look at my paper  books it's "wow - I could do this so much better with PS":)))  However, the background paper you used is gorgeous; the pic great and elements do look like paper-scrapping.  Everything goes so well together.  I'm thinking none of my paper stuff looks this good?

Excellent work on your layout Marilyn!  I understand what you mean perfectly.  It was "fun" to reminisce about the days of paper scrapping.  I really like the torn frame.  Paper tears were something I used often!
