Weathered & Worn
In the weathered & worn memories of my mind, you're still there smiling, with that look you save only for me. In a language all our own, with tongue in cheek and your laughing eyes, we talk about everything & nothing at all, sure that we know something the rest of the world hasn't figured out yet. Your laugh & smile still linger, just as I can feel your arms around me - there in the weathered & worn memories of my mind. For the August '19 monthly challenge #2 "Woodn't You" using a wood grained background.
