What a special photo and you’ve scrapped it so beautifully!  I really like your framing and masking and your blending and the pieces you put behind it are lovely.

This is great Jane! I thought all the finger posts had been taken down during WW2 so as not to give the enemy any clues should he decide to invade. The good people of Devon obviously thought the war wasn't going to reach them!

Hilary you are so right I meant to write 'navy friends made' not 'navy friends during'.  Note to self.....I must check my LO's when doing them when tired  

Wow, what an incredible photo to have!  I love heritage layouts like this.  The inked photo masking is great, with the tipped frame overlaid, and the wire fencing and leaves.  Love all of it!

This is an amazing photo to treasure for certain!  I like the blending (always) and the soft/neutral colors really compliment the BW photo perfectly.
