For the August Monthly Challenge #2: Wood Background.
After all the frustrating travel to get there, I was thrilled to see Daniel and Sharon married and the wedding was beautiful.  My photo wasn’t totally clear so I used the Watercolor Effect Kelly shared with me on it.
For this layout I used:
SNU SS Styles: Shadow Me
SNU SS Paper Templates: Blendability
AFT SS Paper Templates: Essential Grungy Edges
BMU SS Styles Emboss and Engrave
BMU Bees Knees Collection Paper
DRB A Little Sparkle Collection
DRB Pretty Much Perfect Collection
BMU Love Honor Cherish Collection
and my own photo

Gorgeous! I love the blending and the lacy effects on the edges of the photo.  Brings in a layer of depth without distracting from the photo.

Lovely! This is beautiful! What watercolor effect did you use?

THIS is the one I used; Kelly shared it with me years ago.  I copied and pasted it onto a documents as the link seems to constantly change!   I had to go looking for it now but I found it.  :)
And BTW I used Brandy’s Emboss and Engrave style on the border and the heart since I didn’t want them to be too outstanding.  Thanks for that tip!

Thanks so much for sharing this tutorial! I copied it onto a document, too. I'll have to give it a try. You did a lovely job with your photo.

One of the best things to share is an idea. :)
