This sounds so good Jane, but are beetroots what we would just call beets?   The entire round thing which actually is a root?   My sister grows beets to I think she’d like this. Your card is so pretty; I like how you showed us a photo and I’d like to try this!

Yep your right Marilyn beets are beetroots. I love beetroot that is used in this way or in baking or roasted but I hate in from a tin. I use it in chocolate brownies I make and its yum  

Love beets in any form and this looks like an amazing sweet-sour relish.
