The black and white theme to your page looks great because of the red in the photo. I do understand your thoughts on the rotation because of the spiral.

This is super. I love the B&W with the color photo. It really makes the photo pop. That is an adorable photo of them by the way. I like the rotation but I would have to put the bow the right way but other than that I think it is super

 

The rotation might not have helped your design, but I love the photo and the black and white with just the small touches of color to go with the photo. I also love how you layered your papers.

Such a fun page. I love the notebook effect.
