Staring wit a bit of recap from last week.

journaling:
Aside from the storms, everything here was pretty normal. Ivy went to the dog park, it was the first really nice day we’d had for a long time.  There were tons of dogs there, and she loves being able to run. More normal stuff and on Saturday our church hosted its first Open Air Market. We had super community participation and lots of folks shopping. We will be doing this the first Saturday of every month through October.

Our Georgia kids came for a quick weekend visit. The kids and dogs played outside, blew bubbles, and roasted marshmallows.

Dave wasn’t up to it, but the rest of us went out to dinner. I just don’t enjoy it as much anymore. I miss him being a part of things.

The kids joined us at church and even stayed for the Administrative Council meeting afterward. We’re trying to make decisions concerning our future, because our finances are in really bad shape. Lack of foresight 40 years ago is catching up to us.

Dave had therapy again, you can see how thrilled he is, but if he would just follow through at home he would improve.Jill is really good, she puts up with all his complaining and grumpiness.

We had some fun with it, but this Covid-19 (Corona Virus) is really blowing up. It’s getting bad all over the world, and USA folks are finally beginning to take it seriously.

Still we need some humor to help keep things light.

Things are being shut down all over and the TN UMC Bishop has directed all churches to close for at least two weeks. No services, no meetings, no choir ... nothing.

The pastor will be recording his sermons and I will upload them to the web site.

It looks like you made the most of your week and had some fun!  I know what it's like to be in therapy (knee replacement) so I agree with Dave.  Ha!  Ha!
