This will be the opening page of my Africa-album.

I scanned some of the brochures and the proposed itinerary our travelagent gave us,

and some of the guidebooks we read before making up our minds!

Background is from Erica Hite's "Just the Basics Paper Biggie"

Leaves from Keri Schueller's "Spice of Life"

Font is English111 Presto BT

From the album:

This is a great front page! It really whets the appetite for what's to come. I like how you let the brochures and itineraries do all the talking. :)

This is a great opening page! You will look back on this and remember all the planning and research you did for this trip. I love the leaves, too!

This is wonderful! My mom does something similar so that she is ready to do her version of scrapping when she gets back from her many travels. How exciting for you to go to Africa!

What a GREAT idea to do a page like this! I know these things were a part of your memories...you probably thumbed through them often. How neat to save them in your scrapbook in such a perfect way...good job!

Nice start. That is where most vacations start and most people don't include it in their book. Very good idea to include it.

I love how you included brochures/memorabilia. I'm new to digiscrapping and I've been wondering how to include some of those kind of things. Great LO!

This is a terrific idea to start off a series of pages about your trip! General overview to specific details. How you put them on the paper reminds me of how they might look on a table in front of me if I were planning what to do and where to go. I am looking forward to seeing the pages about each of your adventures.

Thess I'm so loving your Africa album. This is such a cool page to start everything off with. You now have the first and the last page done only the middle ones to go!!! :disappearing-smilie:
