Stralitzia - bird of paradise. They grow wild in South Africa. Gorgeous layout!

That flower sure brings back memories. I think they were in my grandma's garden. Love how you've used the frames. Lovely page.

You did a great job of keeping the focus on the photos by using subtle textures and color variations. 

My absolute fav flower.  Haven't seen one in so long - great pic which reminds me I need to try and grow them again since we're back in Fl.  Great layout to showcase it

My bird of paradise bush actually had a flower on it this year. I was so excited!   I like the different views you've given us and the touch of orange in your background.

Such a beautiful flower! Love how you did the main photo with the white edges and the paint in the background. I think the Post Office could use those stamps to enhance our snail mail.

So pretty...it took me awhile to see the lady bug in the large photo, love that you did the details as stamps.  This is lovely.
