I orginially did this layout for the color challenge, but I've reworked it a little and added some journaling. The first page is for family members, so I didn't want the journaling on their copies, but I might change my mind. Anyway, I would love CC on this layout because I would love to submit it somewhere. TIA!

Oh wow! This photo is precious! What I love about this is the circle of paper behind the photo and flowers. And there's something I really love about the rust colored flower and the branch. That extra touch of color is beautiful.

It is very very cute...on my monitor the picture itself is a bit too yellow...a more brown/sepia colour would blend better...but of course it could look different on your monitor...

I especially love the faded wallpaper behind the photo. It works so well to capture that "time". This photo is really a precious heirloom. Great work with it!

I really liked the first version you did - but this is actually even better!

The journaling is perfect and I love how the element goes on to the frame!

Carla, the only thing I might suggest is adding a stronger drop shadow to the red berries and flowers. That way, they'll look a little more 3 dimensional and really pop off the page. Other than that, I think this one is ready to be submitted for sure! :D

I like all the layers of different textures and warm colors. What a great photo to have. The photo seems a little bit yellow to me as well, but I can really only tell how true my colors are by printing them. :) Hope you get it published!

oh, i adore the photo! and i would certainly let it shine!

just my HO, i'd use less embellies and place the photo on a darker paper to make it stand out.

good luck on your LOs publication!

That picture is divine!

I really like the little tag hanging from the brad and the foliage flowing over onto the frame looks wonderful too.

I really like this page. First, the way you layered your embellishments and gave them the perfect drop shadows really gives it a sense of depth. I also like the way you placed the baby in the photo in one of the perfect focal points on your layout and how that is balanced by the b on the tag. Next, I love the font you used for the word "generations"; it actually looks old and worn. Last but not least, I like the way that you tilted your background paper so it would not interfere with your words. The only change I might make is to look for a different font for your journaling. Something that looks more old-timey or more scratchy handwritten. But I love this layout! You did an incredible job! (and what a neat memory!)

Such a wonderful picture and a beautiful LO. I love the berries and the way you have taken them across the frame. I also really like the shape of your hournaling block. It's certainly different and the shape creates more interest. Well done!

Love the wallpaper circle and the frame. The photo is just great. It's lovely to have the journalling for future generations. We've got a load of photos at home that look edwardian era - must be family, but we don't have a clue who they are which is a shame.

LOVE everything about it.

Mostly I love the fact that you HAVE the photo! I have very few actual family photos; we are few.

However, my virtual family is huge!
