I love a bit of bread and butter pudding and can imagine that a drop of whisky could make it doubly delicious! I have a couple of variations - use panettone instead of bread OR use choc chips and spoonfuls of orange marmalade instead of dried fruit (latter idea thanks to Jamie Oliver).

My Mom loved bread pudding and it sounds like she would have liked this recipe.   I like the colors you used and I smiled because I know sultanas are our “raisins” from being with Jody.

Nice stacked effect on your card. I love bread pudding and have a great one using bourbon, so this is interesting to see and compare! Thanks for sharing!

Oh, YUM! I'm definitely making this around holiday time. In northern New England, where I grew up, I often had bread pudding topped with hard sauce, so the whisky went into the sauce instead of the pudding. In New Orleans, too. But I like this version.
