Amazing. We haven't had any rain this last half of the month. And it is quite warm, mid 80's with no cooling down at night. With all this warm weather we have been eating on the front porch. Have done a bit of cooking too. Everything is so dry. Have been watering all day everyday. Have started noticing some trees starting to die along the freeway and also in the neighborhoods. The yard is starting to look a little tired and fallish. After not seeing a mouse for a month we caught two in traps under the back porch. Still taking bird pictures. Finally got a couple of grosbeak pictures, a young male. Have a lavender in the front yard that was all finished blooming and pretty much all the seed had fallen, I thought, and I was getting ready to cut it back. Sitting on the porch one morning a flock of goldfinches touched down and started to glean seeds. So, it will stay for awhile. Also have left a few seed fronds from the astilbes for the birdies to eat on. They are eating the fruit from the crab apple and glory bower trees. The berries on the pyracantha are starting to turn red. Soon the robins will be arriving to pick it clean. We both had our teeth cleaned this month, wasn't too bad and felt safe. We also went out to dinner for our anniversary. Went to the Markham Inn, a steak house about 25 miles from home. Ate outside and away from everyone. Was very nice and our first dining out since February. Will take Janine there next month for her 60th birthday. We had our first porch visit with someone other than Janine or Dianne. Porch is 30 feet wide so is easy to social distance. Gerald, Marina and Powder came over for coffee. Was really nice to see and talk to them in person. We will be visiting them in a few weeks for a patio visit. We have had two family members die this month. Aunt Vera's Grandson Colin from a drug overdose and Mike's cousin Gary from the virus. We were suppose to visit Gary in Arkansas this year, but the virus interfered with travel and now he's gone. I’m learning all kinds of new Adobe things. Fresco is a new program for me, an Adobe painting program. Like all their programs, not easy.

Interesting month for you with lots going on, even in quarantine.   I enjoyed your photos, I saw a rose-breasted grosbeak once and even got photos.   I enjoyed your journaling and like the colors you used in your background.

It was a busy month again. Your journaling is amazing. Great pics of the birds. I miss my porch, we had a 44' porch that was 16' wide so it as a great party place and so relaxing. I am envious of your porch.
