It was forecast to be cold, but bright and sunny, which was needed if you want to get a reflection of Mt. Hood in the lake. On the drive up to the mountain we could see Hood and while there were a few clouds around it was visible. We got to the trailhead and started up to the lake. It is a 2 mile hike to the lake with another 1/2 mile around the lake. When we got there the clouds had moved in over Hood it wasn't visible at all. It is suppose to be behind the V of the trees across the lake. The clouds reflecting in the lake were beautiful anyway. We had a lovely day. Will have to go back next year and see if we can get the mountain in the lake.

awww, I know it is really pretty to see Mt Hood. I don't think I have been to Mirror Lake, but your LO and photo is great to see, the reflection is wonderful! Being in WA I see Mt Rainier when it isn't cloudy.

Oh wow this is gorgeous Lynne.   Your photo is stunning and I like the way you’ve masked it and the background you chose which sows it off so well.     I enjoyed your interesting journaling.
