My Auntie Sue’s recipe. Uncle John was Irish so when I was little she’d host a St Patrick’s day dinner including green mashed potatoes and beer and this Soda Bread. It’s really good. When she died, I took photos of some of her recipes so this is her typed card.

Cute card. We LOVE Irish soda bread at our house, and basically eat it the entire month of March. I am always trying new recipes, so this one goes into the pile. The recipe our family uses comes from my SIL's parents, who emigrated from Ireland.

I've enjoyed Sue's soda bread many times and am glad to have a copy of her recipe. For anyone else who might read my comments, I highly recommend this bread! And for those who know me, Sue was my husband's sister.
