I wish I had your talent! This is just so wonderfully done . Sigh.

Gee, Barbara, thank you. I feel like I've come a long way since I picked up this type of digital scrapbooking two years ago! I gander at LOs a lot in galleries and on Pinterest to get ideas.

Another gorgeous one from you.! I love the blending on this one.

Thanks, Andrea. You know why I think this one blended so well? I used Ginny's colored overlay/transfer #5 (part of the Autumn Blessings kit) as a photo mask. I hadn't ever done that before, but I think it turned out just right.

This really is beautiful.  I’m a fan of the soft/watercolor/blended look and you used the papers so well with your photo.  I’m curious about  your tip about using the colored overlay as a mask.   Did it change the photo at all or work the same as a BW/gray one?

I like your cluster and how it doesn’t overwhelm  your gorgeous work.

Marilyn - I used the transfer/paint overlay just like a clipping mask. It adapted to the png overlay just like a regular black-filled photomask. I scrap in MyMemories, and there is the ability to fill any .png with a photo or paper. I think this can operate the same way in Photoshop, but I am not as well versed in it. I use an old version of PSE mainly to edit or filter photos. Does anyone who uses PS or PSE know the answer to this?

Ok, that makes sense and I think answered what I was wondering.   Mainly did the colored png change the photo color.  I sorta assumed it would act like a black/gray one where more dense areas on the mask would be darker in the photo but I’ve always wondered if color mattered.   Actually I should have known it doesn’t because you can paint on the masks in any color to adapt them to a photo and all it does is fill it in.

Thanks!  For your reply.

It's working fine as a mask in PSE. Don't have a layout done yet. You're right this is Huge.

Glad you are working with this kit and the idea to use the transfer as a photo mask worked! I look forward to seeing your LOs with Autumn Blessings.

This is such a beautiful layout Celestine!  Sooo many things I love about it.  Your cluster is beautiful and the photo, well it's just perfect for this Club.  So glad you used the overlay/transfers as photo masks.  They are so versatile!  And I think I see the brushes in there too  :)  Thank you for creating this for the club.
