November Monthly Challenge #4: Pocket Page - Snake

I’ve never done a pocket page, but used these templates one year for Project Life. When I went looking in my stash, I found quite a few pocket pieces. These are my little neighbors.
Journaling reads:
H and H were excited to see the garter snake I found when tying up the tree branches I’d cut. They had a fun time watching him curled up and seeing his red tongue dart in and out. I got a quick photo when he started to move away and then he disappeared!”
For this layout I used:
SNU SS DLOT: 8.5x11 Pocket Life
SNU SS Styles: Shadow Me
SNU Pocket Life: Snapshot
ABL Naturalist Journal Collection Biggie
AFT SS Styles: Every Day Glitter Value Pack
ASO SS Styles: Weathered Wood
KVE SS Styles: Starburst White
BMU Fitness Collection Biggie - arrow
Title font is “Snake Jacket”
and my own photos

This is a great pocket page. I like the photo of the children busy watching the snake. Great title work over and including the snake photo.

what a wonderful page but I hate snakes and so glad we don't have any in NZ :) So pleased to hear its harmless though but the kiddies are certainly interested in it

Well you sure nailed the pocket page on the LO for your first one. They can really tell a story though.. I don't really like snakes but they do serve a purpose. We have one that lives in the back yard so often get surprised by it went going out the backdoor.

Love your pocket page, Marilyn!  (I still struggle with these!)  I love that you included the neighbors and that you were able to capture quick photos.

Such a cool pocket page. Love all the bits and isn't is funny how kids are so interested in garter snakes or any kind for that matter. I like how you included the data on the snake. I do that too sometimes. Thanks for participating in the challenge!

You managed to get some great photos considering no one (especially the snake) posed for them. :D  I like the color balance here and the mix of photos and journaling.

I love the look on the children's faces. the sight of that snake would have had me running at full speed in the opposite direction. The pocket page works well for this subject.
